A very warm welcome!

Visit by students from DHBW Mosbach

At the end of October 2023 we were delighted to welcome a group of students from DHBW Mosbach, one of the nine colleges making up the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, to our plant in Ennepetal. These soon-to-be engineers specialising in civil engineering project management are in their fifth semester and have chosen the geotechnical engineering module.

First of all, the students were welcomed and introduced to the company. They were given a comprehensive insight into our product divisions, corporate development since 1881 and international operations. One particular highlight of the visit was without doubt the tour of the works, which included a detailed explanation of the production of TITAN micropiles with practical demonstrations. That was followed by a detailed look at micropile theory and a session answering the students’ questions. It was not just our products that were the focus here, but micropiles in general, their applications and the associated building legislation and standards.

The successful mix of company information, works tour and theory impressed not only the students, but also the tutor in charge of the visit, Christoph Gemperlein: “Everybody was very pleased with the visit. We are very grateful to have had this opportunity and it turned out to be a highly informative day.”

We would like to thank the students for coming to visit us and look forward to entertaining the next group! We are very happy to pass on our experience of products and markets to students of civil and structural engineering.
