Taking a look at construction projects ISCHEBECK staff on site

[text] => Some of our employees recently had the chance to visit a project that involved excavation and shoring works on Strückeberger Straße in Enneptal / Germany. On site, they watched the installation of TITAN micropiles used to shore up the future GAZ (emergency response centre) for the Ennepe-Ruhr county. They also made the most of an opportunity to learn more about how the micropiles are installed and used.
The new GAZ for the Ennepe-Ruhr county is being constructed on land covering about 17,500 square metres. In future, it will house offices, sheds, outdoor areas and the control centre for the fire brigade and the ambulance service. The TITAN micropiles by ISCHEBECK play a central role in shoring up the ground by transferring the tensile forces to the subsoil and thus preventing the surrounding trench from collapsing.

[text] => First of all, the employees were given a presentation to introduce them to the theory. A minibus then took them to the construction site, where they gained valuable insights into the practical application of the company’s geotechnical products. “It was really exciting to see how our TITAN micropiles are put to actual use and inserted into the slope. As a trainee, I can now combine my theoretical know-how directly with this practical experience,” reports Leandra Thiel, who is training to become an industrial management assistant.

For example, micropiles are being used to shore up the new FEBI office building in Wilhelmstraße. They also prevent the wall from collapsing at the entrance to the Kluterthöhle caves. TITAN micropiles were also used as noise barrier foundations for Deutsche Bahn in Ambrosius-Brand-Straße, where they have to withstand the pressure and the suction waves of passing trains.
